Kraft it up

Can you tell I'm loving challenges at the moment!  For KIU's August Challenge you had to show your style.  Had to think about what that means to me because I will give any style a go, but this is probably a good representation of me.  It's a little messy, fun and colourful.

Scrap the Boys

The August challenge was to do a monochromatic layout and include twine and chipboard.  I chose teal as my colour and used a bunch of smaller bits of paper from my scrap stash.  Such a cute pic!

2 for 1

For their August Challenge, Sketches with a Twist and Show us your Stuff combined challenges.   Same sketch, but for SWAT you had to add a safety pin and the twist for SUYS was to add a handmade embelishment.  As you didn't have to make the embellishment I used a heavely heart from Charms Creations.

White with 1 challenge

This month's challenge was to use white + pastels + masking.  I went with soft pink, green and brown and used a brick template with some glimmer mist for my masking.  The pic is me as a baby with my Grandfather, or Bampy as we called him.  Loving the bunny, he is adorable!

18 months later.....

and the house is finished, we've moved and most of the boxes are unpacked.  Still need to landscape and put the shed up, but life is getting back to normal.  I've got my scrappy space back, need to sort where to place stuff, but I'm able to create again which feels good.  Here's what I've done so far, looking forward to getting creative on a regular basis.  Sorry about the photos, I haven't quite figured out yet where to get the best light, plus it's been raining or cloudy here for a while now!
